KOLKATA: The New Town Kolkata Development Authority (NKDA) has constituted a resource mobilisation committee, a work committee and a tender committee for exploring scopes and opportunities of rationalising revenues and mobilising resources and to scrutinise work proposals for administrative approval and financial sanction.
Officials said that the committees have been formed for better and improved administrative functioning and executing work in a more coordinated manner.As directed, yearly maintenance for all kind of works will need to be placed before the works committee for approval and for any project proposal, the committee may engage experts to examine for any detail project report if required. The NKDA chief engineer has been made the chairperson of the works committee and the NKDA CEO has been made the chairperson of the tender committee. The resource mobilisation committee will furnish a report to the authority within two months.
