Hyderabad flyer in hospital after heart attack at Kolkata airport Times of India, 14 February 2020
KOLKATA: A 55-year-old man, who was waiting to board a connecting flight to Hyderabad from Kolkata airport, suffered heart attack. Mazhar Ahmed, a resident of Hyderabad, has been admitted to a private hospital in the city. He had complained of chest pain to the medical team of the airport, from where he was referred to Charnock Hospital. Ahmed had taken a flight from Aizawl that had a layover period at Kolkata airport before flying to Hyderabad. He felt the chest pain around 4.50pm while sitting at the security hold area. He was attended by a team of doctors at the airport. Preliminary diagnosis showed that Ahmed had acute myocardial infection, which had led to his heart attack.
