Jalpaiguri: A BSF jawan was arrested in Alipurduar’s Babu Para on Thursday for allegedly molesting a woman, reports Pinak Priya Bhattacharya.
Sona Ram had been deployed at Alipurduar University for poll counting day and was camping at Alipurduar Boys’ School. On Thursday, while at a local grocery shop, he allegedly attacked the survivor.
The woman lodged an FIR with Alipurduar PS, after which the jawan was arrested.He will be produced in court on Friday.
