Kolkata: A 45-year-old man riding a bike was killed after being hit by a car on the approach road of the one-way airport flyover on VIP Road on Sunday. Dhiman Das, a resident of New Town, was riding towards the airport from Baguiati with a friend when the accident happened around 3 am. CCTV footage showed the car driver had missed the right turn to the flyover and drove the car on reverse before he took a sharp left turn to climb on to the flyover from VIP Road when he dashed the duo on bike.tnn
