Kolkata: The CBI, probing the alleged malpractices in the NEET-UG examination, on Wednesday reached Kolkata tracing the links of the Sanjay Mukhia gang — the prime suspect and mastermind in the paper leak scam. The agency officials reached an apartment in a New Town housing society on Wednesday afternoon in search of a person linked to the gang.
The agency officials believe that a person linked to the network across Bengal and Bihar was staying at a property in the New Town housing estate.Last week, four — three from Bengal — were held by Bihar Police for their alleged involvement in the scam.
