Kolkata: The Calcutta High Court on Thursday permitted senior Counsel Dhiraj Trivedi, representing Bengal governor CV Ananda Bose, to proceed with a defamation suit against CM Mamata Banerjee on July 10, reports Subrata Chattoraj.
This comes after Justice Krishna Rao directed Trivedi on Wednesday to withdraw the petition. However, Trivedi brought the matter to the court’s attention on Thursday, despite it not being listed for hearing.
