Kolkata: The state on Tuesday proposed to clean up abandoned railway quarters and offices, blocked drainage lines in railway workshop areas and littered rail tracks, vacant plots and canals under railway’s jurisdiction.
A meeting was held at Nabanna where minister Firhad Hakim, chief secretary B P Gopalika, home secretary Nandini Chakravorty along with secretaries of several departments, police and senior officials from South-Eastern, Eastern Railway and RVNL discussed dengue threats.tnn
