Kolkata: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) board on Wednesday started online counselling for admission to 44,000 seats in 83 engineering, technology and architecture institutes in Bengal. This year, 1,12,963 candidates qualified in JEE.
Admissions will end on Aug 5. A source said candidates could modify and lock their choices by July 16.
“The first list of seat allotment will be out on July 19.From July 19 to 24, students will have to pay seat acceptance fee, report to allotted institutes for verification and take admission. The second round of admission will continue between July 26 and 29,” said an official.
Qualified candidates who did not register earlier can do so in the mop-up round from July 31 to Aug 5 by paying Rs 1,000. tnn
