Kolkata: IHCL is going to come up with four new hotels under Taj, SeleQtions and Ginger brands in Bengal. The hotels will start operations in next three years. Two of these hotels will be in Kolkata while the rest are under development in Raichak and Asansol, said IHCL executive vice-president, real estate and development, Suma Venkatesh. IHCL has seven hotels in the state.
“We are also focusing on harnessing our existing partnerships. Five of our hotels in this state have come up in collaboration with the Neotia Group. These hotels are under management contract,” Venkatesh told TOI. In Jan, IHCL opened Ginger Hotel at Rajbandh in Durgapur. “We will have two new hotels under Ginger brand,” said Venkatesh.
