Kolkata: The registration of Class IX students, who will be appearing for Madhyamik in 2026, will be done through an online registration process from this year. The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education issued a notice about the introduction of the online registration process on Thursday.
WBBSE president Ramanuj Ganguly said, “As per our commitment we had two years of test running and implemented the system from this year.Moreover, students will get their registration certificate in the same year too.”
“We want the system to be error-free so that students will not face trouble before appearing for their first board exams and we can keep a record from time to time. Moreover, we wanted to ensure that it is less time consuming than the manual process and is user-friendly,” added Ganguly
The portal will be available from 11 am on July 15 until midnight on Aug 31. There will be no camp office for distribution of blank registration forms scheduled to be held on July 24.
