  • Kolkata: The decision to introduce the holistic progress report card for school students in the state-run schools has been delayed by a year.

A notice has been issued by the state school education department and circulated to the schools. The notice came when the eight pages card had already been printed and circulated schools. The aim is to see holistic progress of students from class I-VIII which will be preserved.

Sources said that due to a lack of infrastructure the department has decided to roll out from next year even after circulating the new cards.
