Kolkata: Bandhan Bank has registered a 47% jump in net profit in the first quarter of this fiscal. It has touched Rs 1,063 crore from Rs 721 crore during the same period last year. The bank’s gross NPA also improved year-on-year to 4.2% in Q1 FY25 compared to 6.8% in Q1 FY24.
“The first quarter for us has always been a soft quarter in previous years.However, this time, we have seen all-round improvement of major parameters,” said Ratan Kumar Kesh, MD and CEO. tnn
