Kolkata: Bengal STF has busted an illegal telephone exchange operating along the Chicken’s Neck corridor in north Bengal. Three persons — residents of Matigara and Pradhannagar in Siliguri — have been arrested.
SP (operations) Indrajit Basu said the raid was carried out on Friday night. The gang used SIM box to allow international calls, bypassing legal gateways of domestic telecom operators.The accused have been identified as Sanjay Kumar (41), Mukesh Poddar (31) and Sandeep Kumar Rajak (38). tnn
