Bombs, cartridges recovered from Kolkata guest house

Representative photo NEW DELHI: Law enforcement authorities discovered explosive devices and ammunition at a lodging facility in Kolkata's Iqbalpur neighborhood, according to officials' statements on Wednesday.
The police team, acting on a tip, arrived at the guest house on Tuesday and found the dangerous materials inside a bag, they reported.
Officials revealed that the bag held "five country-made bombs and several cartridges."
The investigation into the matter is ongoing, and authorities are working to determine the origin and intended purpose of the explosives and ammunition.
