‘CNG pipeline impasse likely to be resolved in 15 days’

Kolkata: The supply of CNG to the city may go up three-fold in the next month since Gail is hoping to resolve the impasse regarding laying of the gas pipeline linking the city in 15 days. Gail chairman Sandeep Kumar Gupta met chief secretary B P Gopalika on Wednesday. Bengal Gas Company CEO Anupam Mukhopadhyay told TOI the problem at Babla village is almost solved.“Now there is some settlement and we hope work starts in 15 days,” an official said. tnn
