Kolkata: Air India Express will operate a flight between Kolkata and Dhaka six times a week from Sep 3. The flight, which will operate on all days except Mondays, will take off from Kolkata at 11.55 am to reach Dhaka at 1.30 pm local time. It will then take off from Dhaka at 11.10 pm local time to reach Kolkata at 11.45 pm. With this expansion of its network to Dhaka, Kolkata has become the third-largest station for Air India Express, offering 158 weekly flights that connect Kolkata to 13 destinations directly and 20 destinations through one-stop itineraries.At present, IndiGo Airlines, Biman Bangladesh and US Bangla Airlines operate daily flights between Kolkata and Dhaka. tnn
