Kolkata: The New Town Kolkata Development Authority (NKDA) has decided to manually process pending applications and has issued an advisory on it. A system crash of the e-district portal has stalled the completion process of applications for occupancy certificate (OC) or completion certificate, partial OCs and renewal. Till the system starts functioning again, re-sanction of OC, partial OC and building plans may be applied manually in a prescribed format enclosed through support@nkda.in.
Officials said the system crashed in June and the file server was corrupted.It disrupted the processing of 28 applications, which will now be completed manually. For those who have paid the fees, the finance department can verify it. For others, applicants may be asked to deposit the fee directly to the bank.
