Kolkata: Bengal govt on Saturday said that there was no irregularity in the transfer of a plot for promoting industry in West Midnapore’s Garbeta.
Alapan Bandyopadhyay, chief adviser to CM Mamata Banerjee, said at a press meet in Nabanna that proper norms had been followed in transferring the plot. He said Captain Industries India Pvt Ltd had received 242.4 acres and had paid Rs 30.4 crore for it while Berry Alloys Ltd had paid Rs 12.1 crore for 75.6 acres.tnn
