• Bharat Coking Coal aims for 40k cr revenue by FY 2030

  • Kolkata: Bharat Coking Coal Ltd (BCCL) is targeting a revenue of Rs 40,000 crore by 2029-2030.

    The company aims to achieve this by increasing coal sales and pursuing diversification initiatives. “Our company produced 41.1 million tonnes of raw coal in FY24. In the current financial year, our target is to produce 45 million tonnes. And by 2029-30, we aim to produce 100 million tonnes.The company is working on the development of large coal blocks,” said Samiran Dutta, BCCL chairman and MD.

    BCCL is also implementing an asset monetisation strategy, inviting private sector participation in the development of coal washeries.

    “Four coal washeries are under the process of monetisation with a total capacity of around 7.1 million tonnes. Private players will be sourcing coal from us, and we will offer land on lease,” Dutta said. tnn
