Kolkata: Mohammedan Sporting Club’s title defence of the CFL Premier Division is getting more complicated now.
The black-and-white brigade, three time defending champions of the league, were held 0-0 by BSS Sporting Club at the Kalyani Stadium on Saturday in a further blow to their title hopes.
With this draw, Mohammedan Sporting now have 15 points from 9 matches in Group A, while BSS are on 13 points from 8 games.
Suruchi Sangha (19 points from 8 games), Diamond Harbour FC (17 points from 7 matches) and United SC (16 points from 8 matches) are front-runners to make the championship (Super Six) round from this group. tnn
