A march by doctors of a private hospital on Tuesday Doctors at various private hospitals in Kolkata are showing solidarity with the protests being staged across India against the rape and murder of the PGT doctor at RG Kar Medical College.
Doctors across units of Manipal Hospitals staged a token 'pen down' protest at OPD for an hour on Tuesday. As they marched outside the hospital premises, wearing black badges, the doctors said they would continue to raise their voice till justice was delivered.
Health workers at Fortis Hospital also wore black ribbons on their wrists during duty hours.
Doctors from private hospitals will also take out a march on Wednesday.
