(PTI Photo) KOLKATA: Kolkata police arrested nine people on Thursday for mob violence during protests at RG KAR Hospital, where a trainee doctor was brutally raped and murdered.
Unidentified miscreants broke into the state-run RG Kar Medical College and Hospital shortly after midnight on Thursday, causing damage to parts of the facility.

West Bengal Governor CV Ananda Bose also visited RG Kar Medical College and Hospital on Thursday to assess the situation.
Bose also met with the protesting junior doctors at the facility, where the semi-nude body of a postgraduate trainee doctor was discovered last week.
