Kolkata: The West Bengal Clinical Establishment Regulatory Commission on Thursday ordered a hospital in north Kolkata to pay a compensation of Rs 4 lakh to a patient.
According to a complaint lodged with the health panel by one Atanu Dey, the patient from his family underwent a surgery in the uterus in Charring Cross Nursing Home. The surgery was successful post which she was wheeled out of the OT.While being taken to the ward both her legs got stuck in the lift leading to the injury. TNN
