RG Kar hospital horror: CCTV footage shows accused Sanjay Roy staring at victim doctor

NEW DELHI: Sanjay Roy, dubbed as a 'sexual pervert with animal instincts' in CBI's psycho analysis, was seen staring the 31-year-old victim doctor on August 8.
The doctor was found raped and brutally murdered in a seminar hall at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata.
Sanjay Roy is the lone suspect to be arrested in the rape-murder case which has triggered widespread outrage across the country.
As per the CBI sources, CCTV footage from the hospital captured Sanjay near the chest department ward around 11am on August 8, where the 31-year-old victim and four junior doctors were present. Roy was seen observing the victim before leaving.
During questioning, Roy admitted to entering the ward earlier that evening. The CBI stated that the victim had left the ward for dinner with other junior doctors and returned to the seminar hall shortly after 1am on August 9.
A junior doctor last spoke to her at 2.30am before she went back to sleep. CCTV footage shows Roy re-entering the hospital at 4am, and investigators believe he then headed to the seminar hall on the third floor, where the victim was resting.
