Barasat Medical college new principal Paul faces protests at her new posting

Suhrita Paul, the newly-appointed principal of Barasat Medical College and Hospital, faced intense resistance from students, junior doctors, and local residents as she attempted to assume her new role on Saturday. The agitators had blocked the entrance to the college and shouted 'go back' slogans. Later, cops brought the situation under control, reports Sanjib Chakraborty.She had been transferred to Barasat after being removed from her previous position at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital.
