Kolkata: The Federation of All India Vyapar Mandal, a national traders’ body, has announced that Bengal’s Sushil Poddar had been elected as its working president. During the annual general meeting of the federation, its national spokesperson Rajeshwar Painuly said a new executive committee would be elected soon under Poddar. Poddar is the president of Confederation of West Bengal Trade Association, an organisation of 150 trade bodies with over 10 lakh members in the state.Representatives from 14 states participated in the federation’s annual general meeting held in Delhi. tnn
