Kolkata: State Congress president Adhir Chowdhury moved Calcutta High Court on Tuesday praying for permission for a rally on the RG Kar Medical College and Hospital rape-murder.
Chowdhury moved the court of Justice Rajarshi Bharadwaj after police denied the party approval to hold a protest march from College Square to Shyambazar on Aug 29. Justice Bharadwaj allowed the petition to be filed and is likely to hear it on Wednesday.
