Kolkata: The Indian Medical Association HQ has suspended former RG Kar principal Sandip Ghosh’s membership. Ghosh is accused of mishandling the rape and murder of a PGT doctor in the hospital when he was the head of the institute. The decision by IMA’s disciplinary committee to suspend Ghosh was communicated to him on Wednesday. “IMA Bengal state branch and certain associations of doctors demanded action, citing the nature of disrepute brought by you to the profession,” the IMA (HQs) wrote to Ghosh.tnn
