Joydeb Ghosh, the guard said a man driving a car with three women in the backseat wanted to head to two of the rented bungalows.“Their names were not mentioned in the mail we had received about the persons staying in the bungalows and thus they were denied entry. The man called his friends who were inside the property and they all started attacking me,” Ghosh mentioned in his complaint.

Hearing the commotion, two residents, Abdul Rasheed and Rajasree Roy came to the guards’ rescue when the group turned their attack on Rasheed. Several guidelines have been put in place for making reservations at Vedic Village after four men were arrested on Nov, 2022 for allegedly drugging and gang-raping a woman inside the property.
