  • Kolkata: Davaindia Generic Pharmacy, a Zota Healthcare brand, is set to go for major expansion in the Bengal market by the end of this fiscal, reports Sarthak Ganguly. The expansion is part of the company’s strategy to strengthen its presence in the eastern parts of the country, said Zota Healthcare CEO Sujit Paul.

Zota entered the Bengal market in 2019 and has been penetrating into the state’s rural parts with an omnichannel marketing strategy.“We will expand to districts of Bengal and Odisha. We are also planning to take our business to tier-4 cities or towns in eastern India,” Paul told TOI.

At present, Davaindia has 75 stores across the state. Zota plans to have at least 200 stores in Bengal by 2025-end.
