HOWRAH: In a bid to enhance the experience of passengers arriving at one of India’s busiest railway hubs, the approach to Howrah Station is undergoing a major beautification drive. Known for accommodating both EMU locals and long-distance trains from across the country, Howrah Station will soon greet passengers with lush greenery, adding to the charm of their journey.

    The project, which focuses on the station’s approach near Bankim Setu, aims to strike a balance between infrastructural upkeep and environmental enhancement. Passengers will notice an extended garden area, adding to the visual appeal of the bustling railway yard.
