Kolkata: An FIR has been drawn up at the Hastings police station claiming that two persons – one employed with the Army and the other with the Navy – had allegedly molested a woman when they went to serve a notice on her to stop her from entering a defence property. The FIR was lodged on Oct 1. According to the complaint, the victim claimed that when she refused to accept the notice that barred her entry, she was pushed by the officers and touched inappropriately.
Cops said that they are investigating the case, adding that there are a few gaps in the victim’s statement.
Cops said they will soon send notices to the two officers to come and record their statements with the police. TNN
