Waterlogging in N Kol, south relatively dry
Times of India | 17 October 2024Going by the KMC rainfall data, residents of Muktarambabu Street, Thanthania, MG Road, College Street, Bidhan Sarani, parts of EM Bypass had to bear the brunt of waterlogging for longer hours after a downpour in the afternoon.
Though the KMC drainage department was caught off guard after an intense spell of rain in the afternoon, the executive engineers were told to make all heavy-duty pumps operational to flush out rainwater from the flooded north Kolkata streets.
