Kolkata: The KMC doctor, who was arrested by police for allegedly wearing a ‘Justice for Abhaya’ badge while on duty at Carnival on Red Road, has filed a case in Calcutta HC challenging the alleged illegal detention and arrest. Tapabrata Ray, a medical officer with KMC’s urban primary health centre 123, was released from Maidan PS after around four hours.
His case will be mentioned on Oct 22 before the vacation bench of Justice Kaushik Chanda. tnn
