• Cabinet allots 3.8 acres to HDFC in fin-tech hub

  • Kolkata: The Bengal cabinet on Thursday allotted 3.8 acres of land in the New Town fintech hub to HDFC. This will help the financial and banking major set up its second facility in the New Town hub.

    The company is already constructing a sprawling regional office in New Town. In addition to HDFC, Bandhan Bank, Bank of India, Union Bank, Canara Bank, State Bank of India, and Axis Bank are already constructing their facilities in this zone.

    Among central govt establishments, the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) and Income Tax are already setting up facilities there.
