According to a complaint filed by the woman and her husband, the accused had recorded the act and started blackmailing her, demanding Rs 4 lakh for not making the video viral, added police.

“We arrested the accused quack after receiving the complaint against him. He was produced before the district court on Tuesday and was sent in police custody for five days,” SP (Basirhat) Hossain Mehedi Rehman said.

The accused hails from Hasnabad in the same district.
