• Festive season over, Mamata Banerjee back on the road; starts districts’ tour from Darjeeling

  • With the festive season over in Bengal, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is back to touring the district, starting off from Darjeeling.

    Banerjee has a bunch of programs in this tour. The Chief Minister is scheduled to leave Kolkata tomorrow (Monday) and reach Bagdogra Airport in the afternoon. From there, she will reach Darjeeling by road. The Chief Minister will hold a meeting with GTA members on Tuesday at 3:30 pm.

    She will convene meeting of GTA where she will take account of work of GTA and also development work of the hill region of West Bengal. Mamata Banerjee always stressed on Development in the hill religion.

    After staying two days at hill she will come to Siliguri and then she will come to Kolkata.

    On 15 November, she is having programme at Adivasi Bhavan, Rajarhat, Kolkata to celebrate 150th Birth Anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda and observance of Birsa Munda Dibas. This programme will be celebrated in all the districts over 7 days from November 15 to 21, 2024.
