Job fair for ex-servicemen in Kolkata: A gateway to diverse career opportunities

Kolkata: From project managers to plant supervisors and security engagements to administrative functions, a plethora of job opportunities will be available for retired army personnel at a job fair aimed at second career opportunities for ex-servicemen in West Bengal. This event will be held on Friday at the army camp in Salt Lake.
The event, organised by the Directorate General Resettlement (DGR), will serve as a platform to connect ex-servicemen with leading employers from the public and private sectors.
"This initiative will facilitate direct interaction between job-seekers and employers, offering a hassle-free recruitment process. Ex-servicemen attending the fair will have access to a diverse range of job opportunities, including positions in Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), corporate organisations, and more. Employers will benefit from free access to a skilled talent pool of ex-servicemen, known for their discipline, reliability, and leadership abilities," said a defence spokesperson.
