Kolkata: Aliah University has scored B+ grade by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). This is the first time that the NAAC peer team has come to visit the university.
Registrar Parveen Ahmed Alam said, "This is the first time that the NAAC team has visited our university. As a first-timer, our score is really praise-worthy. I want to thank our teachers, students and staff for their hard work. I am grateful to the state and the minority affairs department and madrasa education for their constant support. We have performed well in all categories except two — research and innovation and governance and leadership." tnn
