As per students the accused instructor Samir Roy was texting abusive messages to the student since her admission in 2003. As per sources the girl would receive sexually abusive chats, and despite she objecting to it he would continue to message.

The students allege that the authorities attempted to cover up the complaint.

Frustrated by the lack of response, a group of students staged a protest on Thursday, demanding the resignation of the principal and assistant principal.

Following the protest, the college authorities issued a notice announcing the teacher’s suspension. As per college authorities the allegtions are serious and any action can be taken only after it is verified.

As per sources, the accused person is working Scottish Church since 2003.

” This is not the first time that a complaint has been raised against this person. Even in July similar incident had occured and authorities were informed but no action was taken, today it got out of everyone’s hand ans students started protesting when the messages were circulated,” said a college student on condition of anonymity.

The incident has sparked outrage among students and faculty in the campus.
