123 Kolkata: Shanti Das Basak, a senior cop in charge of Raj Bhavan, was able to trace her "missing" husband, Dipanjan Basak, on Friday. This occurred hours after she took to social media seeking help from friends and acquaintances to help her trace him.
On Friday morning, Das first posted about the incident on social media, stating he was missing from Thursday after he left for Howrah. The couple lives at Narendrapur. By Friday afternoon, Das, who was earlier posted as deputy SP in CID and was in charge of the cyber wing besides the state human rights commission, updated her post to inform that her husband was found and thanked everyone for their help.
In her social media post, Das wrote, "Thank you to all the friends who helped me find Dipanjan. He is safe with a friend." The Howrah cops were also notified about the missing person.
Earlier, Das mentioned that she lost contact with her husband on Thursday.
