Kolkata: A college student from Habra has been arrested from Howrah for defrauding people by creating a fake Facebook account of Bidhannagar detective department ACP Samabriti Chakraborty and asking for money from people on the ACP's friend list.
The arrest was made following a complaint lodged at the Bidhannagar cyber crime police station on Nov 9. The accused was presented in court on Tuesday and Bidhannagar cybercrime police sought his custody.
