123 Kolkata: CM Mamata Banerjee held a meeting with former Sikkim chief minister Pawan Kumar Chamling at Nabanna on Tuesday. Banerjee later posted on social media that the meeting was political in nature.
Banerjee wrote: "Today at Nabanna, I had the honour of meeting Shri Chamling, who served as Sikkim's CM for an unprecedented 25 years (1994-2019). It was a political and courtesy meeting during which Shri Chamling graciously extended an invitation to visit Sikkim, emphasising the potential for collaboration and working together on shared goals."
