Golf Green murder: Nephew killed aunt for 10,000, arrested

12 Kolkata: In less than 14 hours after a 42-year-old Nafisa Khatun — a mall staffer — was found murdered inside her RP Colony home near Golf Green police station, cops arrested her nephew, Shabir Ali (38) of Dhalipara in Haridevpur, for allegedly killing his aunt after she refused to clear his loan.

Shocked, Khatun picked up a kitchen knife in defence and asked him to leave. The accused then , snatched the knife stabbed her multiple times. and also throttled her," said Joint CP (Crime & Traffic), Rupesh Kumar.
Ali knew Khatun was planning to take her mother for a holiday and believed she had cash with her. Khatun was staying with his father since Ali was staying with his mother.
