Burdwan: A 15-year-old boy from Prayagraj, who ran away from the Kumbh Mela and boarded a train to Howrah, was rescued by the RPF personnel in East Burdwan with the help of passengers.
A lawyer's son, the boy had left home saying that he was going to attend coaching class but went to the fair instead. He reached Howrah and then again boarded a train to UP. While he was on the train, a passenger grew suspicious and alerted the RPF, who informed his father. He was reunited with his father as the latter travelled to Bengal—MD Asif
