123 Kolkata: A meeting was held at Nabanna on Wednesday to take stock of the situation ahead of BGBS on Feb 5 and 6. The focus areas in the meeting were mining, entertainment, power, education and health business sectors. State is trying to draw investments through BGBS which will focus this time on renewable energy sector. Bengal has already formulated a green hydrogen policy and that of renewable energy.
Meanwhile, in another meeting on Wednesday, state industries minister Shashi Panja said that state govt would set up a rubber park over 96 acres in Sankrail. The total investment in the park would be of Rs 1,500 crore. More than 171 rubber units are set to take land in the park. Plots have already been allocated to 141 units.
