This will be the state's last full-fledged budget since the assembly elections are scheduled for next year. The budget, which will be tabled by state finance minister Chandrima Bhattacharya, will not mention theCentre's allocations for centrally sponsored schemes.
All departments have submitted their budget proposals to the finance department, and now the fine-tuning is on for administrative expenditures, state development expenditures, and schemes with central assistance. The source said the state budgetary estimates are prepared by assessing the requirement concerning all available data, along with actuals of the previous year and revised estimates of the current financial year.
