Kolkata: A 16-year-old boy was allegedly abducted by a Tiljala youth on Sunday and kept hostage for several hours over monetary dispute before he was rescued by police. The accused, Sk Nawab (22), was arrested after he initially went on the run. Nawab was produced at a local court on Monday and later remanded in police custody.
Cops have registered a case under various sections of the BNS, including kidnapping and wrongful confinement. tnn
