• Partha gets nod for treatment at private nursing home

  • 123 Kolkata: Former state education minister Partha Chatterjee, who is in judicial custody, was on Tuesday allowed to be admitted to a private nursing home. The special PMLA court, however, said Chatterjee would have to bear the expense for his treatment.

    Chatterjee, who was admitted to the ICU of SSKM Hospital, moved court last week seeking better treatment facilities. The court on Tuesday sought a report from the hospital. While the report mentioned "progressive improvement", Chatterjee's lawyer, Biplab Goswami, pleaded he be treated at a nursing home.
