Plans for repair of damaged Lake Town FOB staircase, Patipukur underpass

12 Kolkata: A portion of the Lake Town foot overbridge (FOB) staircase was damaged, and the area has been fenced off by PWD to prevent any mishap. "Necessary steps will be taken to repair the damaged portion soon," said a PWD official.
In another project to be conducted by Kolkata Metropolitan Development Authority will repair the approach end roads, pavement, railing, and raise the height barrier of the Patipukur underpass. The authorities have initiated the process to engage an agency for the job.
